A leading provider of comprehensive information and communications products, solutions, and services for National Security and the Security of our Homeland, serving the Department of Defense, intelligence agencies, and other government customers. Served as Titan’s Chairman of the Board from April, 1999 until July, 2005 when the company was acquired by L-3 Communications for $2.65 billion.

Held the position of Senior Appointee (Public Law 313) on the staff of the Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force, with responsibility for leading a team of military and civilian analysts and scientists.

Contributed to weapon system analysis programs and specialized in the area of nuclear survivability.

Dr. Ray currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Decision Sciences Corporation, and serves on the Board of the National Academies Air Force Studies Board, Army Science Board, Murray State Foundation Board of Trustees, and other high technology company Boards.


Robert Engler
Education:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California, 1992
Professional Experience:
Robert is a fifteen-year veteran of the IT industry with six of those years in IT management. He is focused on helping small to mid-sized companies assess and develop their IT resources through staff development and constructive software and hardware selection. One of his great assets is a deep background in the technology supporting such enterprises, developed over his career through hands-on implementations. Another is his practice of leading by example or by direction, key ingredients in driving successful projects.
He has worked for a financial money management firm in the San Francisco Bay Area and a privately-held staffing firm in the San Diego region. He has managed implentations of Citrix, VMWare Enterprise on IBM blade servers and HP Proliants, CRM applications running on OpenVMS on DEC Alpha hardware and is a proponent of the use of open source software in the enterprise (Snort, Ubuntu, Splunk, MRTG, Nagios and Sendmail).
He has completed leadership courses through the Ken Blanchard Companies. He is active in local users groups for VMWare and Windows.
